A Seiko mod is a custom-built watch that uses a genuine Seiko movement—most commonly the NH35, NH36, or NH34—combined with aftermarket parts such as cases, dials, hands, bezels, and bracelets to create a unique design not offered by Seiko from the factory.

Think of it as the watch equivalent of customizing a car. The engine (movement) is genuine Seiko, while the exterior components are selected and assembled to achieve a specific look or style.

For example, a Seiko mod may use:

• A genuine Seiko NH35 automatic movement

• An aftermarket Submariner, Daytona, or Explorer-style case

• A custom dial with a Seiko logo

• Upgraded hands, bezel inserts, crystals, and bracelets

Seiko mods are popular because they offer:

• Proven reliability from the genuine Seiko movement

• Unique designs and color combinations

• Easy serviceability and parts availability

• A more affordable alternative to luxury-inspired designs

It’s important to note that Seiko does not manufacture or endorse these modified watches. They are custom-built pieces assembled by independent watchmakers using genuine Seiko movements and aftermarket components.

Once an order is placed, our lead time is typically 2-3 weeks, depending on parts availability and customization. Each watch is built to order and carefully assembled and inspected before shipment. Any delays due to parts availability will be communicated promptly.

All orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days of watch completion. Once your order has shipped, you will receive your tracking information to your registered email.

All watches are securely packaged and shipped with signature confirmation required upon delivery. We utilize, but are not limited to USPS, UPS and FedEx for all Domestic and International order.

Returns:

MPwatches offers a 7-day return policy. Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.

Please note: All custom and engraved watch sales are final, and no returns will be accepted unless the item arrives defective or incorrect.

Return Conditions:

A 5% restocking fee will be applied to all approved refunds or cancellations, except where the return or cancellation results from a product defect, an incorrect item, or an error on our part.

Shipping Charges and Refunds:

Original shipping charges are non-refundable for returns initiated due to a change of mind, personal preference, or other reasons unrelated to a product defect or an error on our part.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed upon by MPwatches.

In the event that a watch arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, MPwatches will cover all associated shipping costs, including providing a prepaid return label. If a refund is approved for a defect, the original shipping charge will also be refunded.

For orders canceled before shipment, any shipping charges collected will be refunded, subject to the applicable cancellation and restocking terms.

For orders originally shipped with complimentary shipping, no additional shipping deduction will be made from the refund unless otherwise disclosed at the time of purchase.

Seiko Mod Warranty:

Every MPwatches Seiko Mod is backed by a 1 year limited warranty covering workmanship and mechanical function. If an issue arises due to assembly or movement function within the warranty period. We reserve the right, at our discretion to repair or replace the watch at no cost. This warranty does not cover normal wear, accidental damage, water damage due to misuse, or unauthorized modifications.

MoonSwatch Conversion Warranty:

Every MPwatches custom MoonSwatch conversion, is backed by a 6 month limited warranty, covering the case and workmanship. This warranty does not cover any mechanical failure, normal wear, accidental damage, water damage due to misuse, or unauthorized modifications.
